My Future Career
The purpose of this lesson is to help students determine their career field of interest and the steps they will have to make in the future to get there. In the duration of the lesson students will conduct research, design a presentation using a Web 2.0 tool, and write a reflection piece on their findings.
Part 1
Be sure to complete the Career Cluster Survey prior to conducting your research.
Create a Georgia 411 account and then research about your career of interest.
After collecting your notes on your career of interest visit the website Lino to post your findings.

Part 2
In this part of your lesson you will design a presentation that shares vital information about your career of choice. You must include general information about your career, the training or education, the salary, work environment, and job outlook. Your presentation must be created using a Web 2.0 tool of your choice. Some options are below, but you may you use any presentation tool with approval from the teacher.

Part 3
After your presentation you will write an informational piece that explains your career of choice and reflects on your feelings about the chosen career. Then, you will submit your writing in a blog post so others can read about your journey and ask you questions.
